hippo related to dolphins and whales huh? probably had a pig as its mate.
My favourite animal
You can really see the link between hippos and whales and dolphins. They've got similar skin, make similar noises, both have nostrils (or blowholes) pointing upwards, both can hold their breath underwater for long periods and both blow out water when they surface.

birds out of the water and fish underneath the water hippos must pick up fleas and ticks better then any other beast ever
Incredible animals but they are very dangerous. They are responsible for most human deaths related to animals in Africa.
