When these ducklings fell down a storm drain their mother was frantic because she couldn’t get to them.
Humans and other animals are killed in sewers every year, and it doesn’t take much water for a duckling to get swept away.
Time was running out.
So PETA alerted the authorities, and the local fire department sprang into action. Soon the ducklings rescued from the sewer were reunited with their grateful mother.

For all the people saying that PETA did no work, they called for help. If they didnt have anything to catch them with there is no way to get them out, the people did the right thing and got the authorities involved rather than trying and hurting a baby. Sometimes telling someone who can help is helping, too!
this happened in my neighborhood, some people called the fire department but the ducklings wouldnt come to them so they left, one kid climbed down there with a butterfly net and pulled out 9 ducklings
