In situation like this, I'd either get my – and not just mine – animals out of the fire, or burn together with them trying to get them out.
There's no third option. I'd not be able to stand there and watch, no matter what.

More than 1,000 pets missing plus hundreds of cows and horses and wild life that were killed , just devastating and my soul hurts for the people but specialy for the animals that mostly had no chance and died a horrible death

God bless U for rescueing those animals. I have seen B4 where people have lost everything and R shattered but if the find their pet has survived it gives them the mental courage to rebuild and go on.

All pets, livestock should be banned/outlawed in all California,,These fires will only continue to grow more dangerous over the coming centuries,,Why allow pets/animals to be burned alive by helpless owners? Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the people who are going there and rescuing the most innocent. That last clip though pisses me off. That dude left his horse inside his enclosure for the fire?! WTF man. He could have at least opened the gate so he would have had a fighting chance if the fires turned on his house and pen!!!! So many people had to do this and just open the gates so the animals could try and run away if the fire came up there. They were smart to write their phone numbers on the horses beforehand or put duct tape around their leg with the info. YOU DON'T ABANDON YOUR ANIMALS IN ANY SORT OF NATURAL DISASTER, EVER!!!!!! I even saw a picture of a person driving slowly down the road in their car with their window rolled down and they had the horses lead in the other hand! Or ride the horse out of there with the other horses connected behind! But you don't fricking leave your animals INSIDE their barn or fenced in just so they can slowly be roasted alive. And the people who left their small animals behind like the dogs and cats, really upset me. 🙁 Anyway, THANK YOU for posting this story. I am so glad to see so many wonderful volunteers helping to go and find injured or loose animals. May this horrific fire be over soon. I wish it would rain there so much 🙁

what if people start setting the city on fire… like if aresenastist team up with the firestorm… like the fire needs help to survive and they should start it up TGB the way i mean it
Animals can survive these natural disasters, but people can’t focus recourses on humans first.
How can people leave their pets behind knowing they will burn in the fire? That's like leaving a family member behind to their death. To me that is a murder and should be prosecuted. What kind of a person would do that to their own pets. How can they sleep at night knowing they left their dog or cat behind in their burning house. Sick bastards.

You know why animals are carefully rescued?
Because animals are "valued" more than blacks, browns, and other non-white lives in the eyes of whites in many cases.
Any POS that leaves their pet behind should never be allowed to have one in the first place.

These fires are no accidents. The wicked spirits in high places are behind this.
Rest in peace to the innocent souls of the people and fur babies that didn't make it. It would be heartbreaking trying to get to my home to save those souls and told I couldn't. California needs pipelines from lakes/rivers and pipelines from the sea with desalinisation pumps NOW!
The community around Paradise desperately needs help due to tens of thousands of now homeless people and animals. Truly is an epic disaster.
