2. NO disrespect to shelters, but they quite often get the characteristics of an animal wrong. DO NOT judge a shelter dog by a quick glance or first impression. They are scared, locked in a cage, with other dogs barking around them, and more than likely going through some emotional, and/or physical trauma. Just give them a chance. ADOPT, DON'T SHOP! 🙂

6. My god, that freaking smile is the best biggest smile ever!!! Pitties have the best smiles of any breed I've ever seen. Although our Yorkie, Inari, her smile is so cute, she wrinkles her nose and shows her teeth that her gums almost show. I love her smile, but I still think pitties have the best smile ever.

10. It's a shame that at the shelter they're so shut down and their true personality is hidden. Once adopted they really come out of their shell. People need to give these type of breeds a chance and look past the stereotypes because the world isn't big enough to hold the love that these dogs have for their people

11. This smile/sneeze behavior is extremely common in lots of dogs. It's a sign of submission. Our lab mix has done this his whole life. It's nothing special…. but still very amusing and charming to see.

18. I've been binge watching so many animal rescue vids the last week or so. After all I've seen, I have 100% changed my views about Pitbulls. They are just as loving as any animal I've ever seen, including humans.

    Please dont follow this womans actions.
    The vets tell you a dog is hostile or old or anything else for a reason.
    Most people dont get lucky. And the animal ends up coming back, more hurt and harder to trust again. Every single time.

40. Me and my dad bought a pit bull that was a puppy but my mom sold it. The pit bull was playful (A week after we got her)

Salute to your love & patience ????!!!It's a shame that pitbulls are so misunderstood & mistreated in this world!( remember that they were all put to sleep & banned to own in U.K.a while ago!!!? So sad & CRUEL!) I used to know a beautiful & the friendliest dog who was a pitbull that my sister's band's guitarist had …& my old neighbor's dog was so lovely & just as friendly as the dog who was also a pitbull mix ( w/ goldenritriver) ! They are so affectionate indeed! It is the people who mistreat & abuse 'em making them so vicious and mean ,violent !???? I really hope all those abuses will be stopped someday soon!!! And no more unwanted pets in the world!!! I really hope! We have the responsibility to end it!!!??❤
