  1. I'm not overly impressed with this cat's hunting technique. Domestic cats can pretty much do the exact same thing.

  2. 2:46 The cat is still in go mode even with his paw on the bird. I think he is anticipating the bird's excape to counteract it. This was a good show..jolly good show.

  3. Fantastic footage, but contrast the Smithsonian soundscape of pseudo-technical dings, dongs and beeps, as well as intense music with the BBC's usual calm voice, poignant presentation and realistic commentary. After all, this is more a snack than a meal.

  4. I would actually watch this show more if it weren't for the extremely corny and dramatic break downs of everything… just let us watch it

  5. The caracals speed, agility and highly maneuverable and sensitive ears are a brilliant feat of engineering which is a wonder to behold. The processing power required to capture a bird in flight like this would challenge our most advanced supercomputer guiding a robot, orders of magnitude more advanced than any existing device available, all assembled in a small neat package. In a word miraculous.
