  1. Lion arms are just like human arms and they use them the same way we do, whether to hug each other or to hold down prey. It's on major advantage they have over the herbivores they hunt who have such spindly limbs that are of little use beyond locomotion. Hyena limbs are also pretty useless which means everything has to be done with their mouth and teeth.

  2. oh my GOD the cub in the minute 2:08 was so little and tried to run away owwww i was so nervous the pride would hurt him that that that…that bastard !! 😛

  3. because the invading males only what cubs from their own blood. that is their job as a male lion once they reach adulthood. they need to have their own cubs and they need to protect their new pride. mothers often do protect their cubs. they usually would risk their own lives to do it, the females would often join up and defend their cubs from the invading males. so a lot of the times, females do kick their asses, but that won't stop the male lions from coming back…

  4. its believed that if Lion cubs are killed the female will then be in heat and then the male can mate with her and continue his line. really its just getting rid of your competitors. Also the mothers do try and fight back but male lions are alot stronger.

  5. Mother nature is truly amazing! The initial interaction between the pride and the cubs is more suspenseful than a Hollywood film. I got goosebumps watching that. If you've never visited the African savannah, make a point to do so before you check out of this world. It's a scene to behold.
