Cats have more fast twitch muscle fibers. A house cat can outrun dogs…. But. ….they have to get up a tree as dogs have much more endurance at top speed.

They missed the bit about Cheetahs only being able to maintain there incredible speeds for short distances. The survival strategy for most animals around Cheetahs is to stay far enough away that with that big head start they get tired before they catch up. I would like to know how big a lead a greyhound would need before it became a cheetahs lunch!
