All alone… chained… minus 40 degrees in the Yukon Canada… poor Diesel endured isolation and beatings, attacks from loose dogs that he couldn’t get away from, and kicks in his mouth from a horse for years until his rescue angels came for him. Animal Advocates made sure the rest of his life was filled to the brim with love and fun and comfort.
We made this video in the hope that it would encourage others to rescue a chained dog. Many distraught people have told us that it did give them the courage to remove a dog from its misery and give it a loving home. This is that video.

no pet deserves to be treated this way, we are supposed to look after them like they are our family, our children, i know i have never been this cruel to any of my pets, unfortunately i lost both my dog Mitzi (rescue dog) and my cat Oscar (stray) last year and I miss them still so much, but dealing with their loss was too great for me to do it all over again. I hope all the dogs being mistreated will find their forever home.

Couldn't you have tied him to a place where there WASN'T ANY SNOW on the ground ??? He has had cold feet before and I would think that you could have thought about that, I am surprised that he didn't have frost bite on his feet and WHY don't you just keep him inside or outside when its NOT snowing and put on some dog boots for him while outside in the snow at Least YOU COULD DO ? Or have him in a back yard where its GATED and not have to EVER put him on a CHAIN again to me that is just CRUEL !
