I had two dogs that were BFFs and when Nelly passed away, Jilly was just devastated. I had to beg her to eat for the next 6 weeks and she lost about 5 lbs, and that's a lot on a 60 lb dog. Eventually she got back to her old self and I got another dog, but they don't have the same bond. They like each other but they aren't BFFs.
A beautiful testament of love, from one living creature to another.
My boy was sad when. His sister luck died. But a year later we got nova and they are best friends. R.i.p lucky .

I have always believed that animals do have the same feelings as humans..they grieve..they experience fear, sadness, happiness…so people need to acknowledge that..they can give so much love..without asking anything in return

Animals really do mourn. When we lost our cockapoo Holly last year our cat Steve French took it very hard. He truly missed her and he was very lonely so it was another factor in getting our bulldog. We both missed her. Steve passed on a few months ago so its been hard to deal with losing both family members.
Animals are way more Spiritual than the human animal will ever be!

I never understood why people [used to?] always say animals didn't feel emotions. They do. They may not shed copious tears but the feel sadness, loss, happiness, joy–love. Kudos to you for searching for something or someone to make Banksy feel life is worth living again–and you get a new fluffy cloud buddy out of it too! Love them well for we know you'll give them a wonderful life.
