Hurricane Harvey: Animal Rescue Team
Spread The Viralist

Our Animal Rescue Team is on the ground to rescue animals affected by the destructive and perilous hurricane in Southeast Texas. The scene is desperate—homes have been destroyed. Other homes are flooding, with people and their pets still trapped inside. The conditions are putting confused and nervous animals in life-threatening situations.

  1. I guess next we'll see them leave their babies and children behind. "Oh sorry sweetie…we don't have time to bring you." Pathetic excuses for human beings!!!! Thank God there are still decent souls on Earth to save them.

  2. I don’t get it. Why would you live in an area that gets hit by hurricanes quite frequently? It seriously should be against the law to live in areas prone to that kind of weather. It makes zero sense. Year after year people acting devastated over the destruction but yet still people live there??? Why are humans so fucking retarded? Especially if your city sits below sea level right next to the ocean lol, you deserve that shit for being retarded.

  3. The first thing I would put in my car if I have to leave would be my dog's. What's wrong with these people who left them behind.

  4. For all those people in the comments saying that some owners are bad for leaving their pets behind….
These people are in a situation where they could actually die. These people probably have kids, a family! It's not like they're gonna choose their pets over their family… I'm sorry but that's the sad reality. But that gives them NO EXCUSE to tie them to a pole. They should be in a safe place where they can be rescued. Unfortunately, animals and humans all have to meet their end.

  5. GOOD, GOOD MEN helping those who can't help themselves but are always there to love and entertain us. Please donate to the animal rescues if you are not close by to help. Watching all that destruction is difficult when you are far away and can't help out, but DONATIONS are always good.

  6. NUTRO PROFONDO RISPETTO PER CHI COME LORO SVOLGONO UN COMPITO COSI' IMPORTANTE…MI DISPIACE MOLTISSIMO PER LE POPOLAZIONI DI HOUSTON…SPERO CHE TUTTO SI RISOLVA PRESTO ADA FROM ITALY

  7. Where are all these animals going? We are in Greenville Texas…. I work at Petsense, we have gathered over 600 cans of dog/cat food and over 50 bags of dog/cat food…. We need to know where to take it so that it actually gets to these animals,or some official rep. To come in with credentials and haul it to these poor animals…. Thankyou to all our patrons for stepping up and donating all this food…..

  8. I donate $15/mo. to the HSUS and have for years…at least with them, I KNOW my money is going to worthwhile rescues like this! Keep up the exceptional work, guys! 🙂

  9. Bless you, from Europe (The Low Country, we know what water can do since we are under -as a country – positioned lower than the water lines ourselves). Bless you for coming to the rescue and try to save all off the helpless animals…

  10. I'm so tired of seeing the excuses that some give, that people did not know that this was coming. Do YOU know what your elevation is, where YOU live? If you're here, on the internet, typing under this post, then you should know what your own elevation is and the possibility of flooding in that location! With modern technology, people were told that this was going to be a devastating hurricane and how long it was probably going to last in the state of Texas. There are FEW excuses, for people not being prepared, to take their animals out with them, if needed. People care about worthless stuff more than they care about preparation in today's times and with modern technology, I just rarely find a good excuse for people not to be prepared. Their actions have put the lives of many in danger or should I say their lack of action. The animals and the children are innocent in all of this, as well as the livestock that were trapped. We are the caretakers of the animals on this planet and we all need to act responsibly and pay attention and be "PRE"PARED! We can't always predict an earthquake or a sinkhole; weather forecasters showed this hurricane coming directly towards Texas and predicted insurmountable devastation. If you CHOOSE to live near a coastline or a fault line, then you are choosing to live in an area that has a higher chance of being destroyed in the future.

Thank you, to the brave men and women who had stepped up to the plate, to help these pets, cattle, horses and the wildlife in these rescues. May you receive many many blessings for what you are doing.

  13. Please take the time to find the cats too. They hide under anything they can. They climb trees too. They won't usually come to strangers.
