Rescued Octopus came back to thank us!
Spread The Viralist

We spent our Holidays at the red sea. While walking along a lonely beach we saw a stranded Octopus in the sand. We were not sure if he is already dead. So we pushed him back into the water. He needed some minutes to recover, then he swam away.

Next day we went to the same beach for a walk. While Walking along the beach we saw a shadow in the water coming very quickly to us. It was our Octopus we rescued yesterday! He recognized us! He accompanied whith us a long time while we walked along the beach, all the time tried to touch our feet.

We are sure that this Octopus came back to thank us for saving his life. It’s amazing how intelligent animals are.

  1. This is why octopodes scare me. They have facial recognition. They can evolve rapidly. They are intelligent. All it would take is one rotten egg, and we may have an uprising on our hands.

  2. Wonderful story! Beautiful video. ?❤ God bless you for helping him! You saved his life. It could seem as something unimportant to the rest of the world, but the life he has is everything to him. And there is a reason for his existence. Octopus is one of the most intelligent animals on the planet. I am sure that he recognized you and wanted to be around you because of the positive energy that he felt, and maybe he is capable to feel even more – a gratitude, in fact. Everything is possible.

  3. Amazing. I would so love to know what he (she?) was really thinking. At the very least, their sense of curiosity was great enough to overcome their caution, to voluntarily approach you and touch you. Regardless, it was an incredible privilege that I know you'll all treasure. I once had a very brief encounter with wild dolphins that I'll never forget… Thanks so much for sharing this!

  4. All I know as an Aussie is that we have the smaller Blue Ringed Octopus &it is Deadly if it bites you &is mostly found amongst the Coral within the 7th Wonder of the World, The Great Barrier Reef!!! I believe they also camouflage themselves, &then the Bright Blue Rings come out when they are on the defense, etc… Scary, but Absolutely Stunning!!!

  5. I almost eaten by a shark and an octopus saved me. I returned to the sea the next day to find and thank him, he was so happy and said he will never eat humans again. The end.
