22. I once was in a car going down a highway in town and there was a little kid, maybe 2 or 3 years old, next to the highway crying. It was an area where there is the highway, then a concrete shoulder, then a 15 or 20 feet acoustic concrete solid wall, then a steep embankment, then a chain link fence, then another embankment, then another chain link fence, with a apartment buildings beyond that. It would have taken quite a while for this kid to manage to get by all those obstacles. There were people trying to stop to get the kid but the shoulder was maybe 10 feet wide with cars and trucks roaring by, so it was tough. I saw on the news that the mother was asleep inside their apartment and had been for hours and didn't lock the doors or anything. Yes, she was arrested, and I think the kid was put in foster care.

    These parents are fucking insane! All of them! I can't even understand…and they act very nonchalant! My aunt accidentally locked her keys in her car with her son still in the car, in his car seat. She was distraught, crying and feeling like a horrible person, even though it was an accident, she realized immediately, stayed right there, called for help, company came out to get the door opened. But these parents here…none of them were remorseful. None.
