In February 2014 one hundred twenty one dogs and more than 60 other animals were rescued from a suspected Jefferson County, Ark., puppy mill after authorities discovered them living in filth and suffering from a lack of basic care.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office called in The Humane Society of the United States and other area organizations, including Central Arkansas Rescue Efforts for Animals, The Humane Society of Saline County, Out of the Woods, RedRover, and Sallis Ranch Large Animal Rescue, Inc., to assist in the rescue and removal the animals.

  2. ??? i always remind my dogs that they will never have to live this way. all of these hoarders, puppy mills, circuses, and pet shops need to be removed. Animals are living, breathing creatures and deserve so much more than this. ? do you think that Jesus would be happy about what this world has become? ? this is not right. i have rescued all of my pets and adopted them from shelters when nobody else wanted to. my ferrets came from a pet store, but i didnt know what they had to go through at the time. they were very young, and bred in-store, so it was nothing too bad. my two newest pit bulls were rescued from an animal shelter, my chihuahua was adopted from my aunt because she was ugly (i think she’s beautiful ?), my oldest dog was rescued from a tattoo shop, my newest dog is a shi-tzu, but we new the breeders and new what their life was life. It was a very caring home and they only had two shi-tzus and a cat. I love my pets more than life and i would give anything for them. Right now, instead of playing with my ferrets, im typing this and laying with my beautifully fragile dog. ? ? ?

  3. There is no HSUS where I live, in the poorest state in the U.S. Just animal control, which still euthanizes, still has politics and dishonesty at the animals' expense. And lots of private dog and cat nonprofits. It's easy for no-kills to call themselves that, because they cherry-pick the adoptables, and the rest end up in the pound, which cannot refuse any that are brought.

  4. This is so heartbreaking. This is why people should adopt and not shop. The puppy mills are supplying the pet shops with the puppies that they sale meanwhile these poor dogs live a miserable and suffering exsistance for the sake of profit.

  5. I have now come to know and recognize Ashley and Adam…and the wonderful work they and all the Humane Kindness Soldiers do, for animals. We are now on board (2019) as donors. And proud of it.

  6. thank you may the Lord keep blessing your work thank you these beautiful babies there are monsters in this world they deserve death

  7. OMG, it's very heartbreaking video, how could be people become so cruel, l can't understand.. Wt the hell, God never forgive those bastards whom do cruelties with innocent babies..

  8. Just want everyone to know that these dogs were well taken care of. The sick dogs were only puppies and if u have 2 senses u will know that puppies are hard to keep healthy. The ones that were un maintaind were just bought and they took all my animals that is not fair it was my grandma that it happend to and I was living their at the time they took my horses and my cupcake not to mention my cat. It drove my grandma to killing her self. The only reason they took the dogs was to sell the dog being at least over 800 dollars. Most going to Washington DC to be sold for 1000nds of dollars wow

  9. This kind of thing reduces me to tears. Thanks to all those good folks for rescuing these beautiful dogs. Why would any human do this to a dog? Makes one wonder how evil they truly are. Dogs just live to love you@

  10. Amigos promuevan leyes que protejan a nuestros amados peludos, y la esterilización es un acto de amor y bondad??????????‍♀️??????????

  11. Confiscate the properties and make it a sanctuary for all animals and law suits against coorporated stores that are selling this animals

  12. Sadly this will never stop unless the outlets (eg pet shops) are closed down. In the UK our Government will be debating Lucy`s Law. Hopefully this will see a complete ban on pet shops and puppy supermarkets that are able to sell puppies without their mother being present.

  13. The world needs more kindness. Watching these HSUS videos, to see the dedication and passion of the rescuers, the joy of the dogs when they are saved, and the changes in lives..it is incredible. I am deeply saddened that some of the animals are just too sick to be saved., despite the best efforts of the rescuers and vets. But all of us must speak out, and lobby for stronger laws, which close puppy mills, put them out of business forever and always. And allow animals to stop suffering and have healthy lives in loving homes. We support HSUS with our good words of support – and our checkbooks. We urge others to do the same!!
