?ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. People either enjoyed my undeniable charm or enjoyed watching me eat things like coconut worms, and thus Best Ever Food Review Show came to be.

I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer. If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Don’t forget to subscribe to Best Ever Food Review Show, so we can connect through food and travel and become Bestys!

  1. Eating lizards, pythons, bugs is bizarre. Only those people who live deep in the rural area in the South of Vietnam eat that kind of food. The population that lives alongside the Mekong river are influenced from Cambodian culture. I think that is why their cuisine is exotically different.
I was born and raised in the South, grew up in Saigon and I wouldn't never dare to eat those foods. It gives me goosebumps.
Even my great grand parents, parents who were born in the farthest Southern part of Vietnam never had such food. I think the way people eat depends on their social economic status and their upbringing.
For example, the Northern Vietnamese eat dogs and it is normal to them but the Southern Vietnamese consider it primitive and inhumane.
Each region in Vietnam has their own cuisine. In exceptional ways, there are people in Vietnam eat bizarrely and it is not encouraged.

  2. the best food review show ever , yes , i know i write it in each and every video …. but yeah ….
