  1. Bunny's can be housed together, it's just more of a bonding process than other animals. I think the mistake people make most often is buying them on a whim, then realizing they need more space and attention than a hamster (facepalm).

  2. you forget

    Corn snakes (I have one)
Pythons (an assortment meant of them, like ball and Banana)
    rats
    Tarantulas
and Fennec foxes (it's not recommended that you get one as a first pet, at least be experienced with expectations)

  3. I'm not so sure hamsters are a great pet. All I remember about them is my younger sisters constantly stressing over them and demanding they have this and that so they can be comfortable, and then being heartbroken and depressed every time one died. It made living in the same house miserable.
The idea that a hamster is somehow easy to take care of is a fallacy. If you want them to live a long, happy, comfortable life, they are one of the most high-maintenance pets out there.
They require large cages, daily to weekly cage cleanings, a lot of time to free-roam, and just all around a lot of attention. They also have a habit of making the house a mess, chewing up books, and running away. Oh, and that's not even mentioning that the average hamster is only going to live for 2 years, so you can't get too attached to them.

Also, you can't just put them into a hamster ball when it is time for them to roam around. Most hamsters greatly dislike that, and you have to keep a very close eye on them to make sure they don't get away.

  4. No, you don't get to group all lizards together, all turtles together, all birds together, and all fish together AND get to go on about different varieties of mammals. No.

  5. You left rats off the list! As a lifelong rat owner, I must now give you a boring lecture. Rats are super intelligent, clean (they groom all the time and only poop in one corner of the cage), and really affectionate toward their owners. They're excited to see you when you get home, and can be taught to do tricks. Basically they're tiny dogs who don't bark.

  6. Not to mention that Dogs are in a way a human invention. We took wolves and turned them into…. well all sorts of things from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. Either way, they are one species that's inseparable from human beings. By becoming domesticated they ensured their own survival and are safe, unlike other species that humans regularly push toward extinction.

  7. Chickens should be on this list! Chickens are really easy to care for! If you keep them happy and clean, then they will lay eggs for all of their young lives! They start laying eggs when they start growing their comb, and they stop laying eggs when they start ageing! When they start ageing, they're comb will look scratched and bended! An old chicken will also stop being as active as it used to! Old chicken's, can also have broken feathers on their body and have a beaten up beak! When chickens get old, some people kill them and roast them, but I never have roasted any of my backyard chickens! I instead keep them until they die, so they can properly enjoy their life! Chickens are the cutest animals! Once I was watching baby chicks hatching out of eggs, and I was literally crying of the cuteness! I love chickens and I think they are the best animal ever! Chickens are a good pet for a beginner with some pet experience! I hope you will enjoy keeping apet chicken because they make beautiful pet! God Bless your family and have a nice day!☺

  8. Don't encourage people to see hamsters as action figures. They're homies, not toys. Also, you forgot rats. Rats are pretty cool pets.
