My first time Hang Gliding turned into a near death experience as my safety harness was never hooked to the Glider. For 2 Min. 14 seconds I had to hang on for my life! The landing was a rough one, but I lived to tell the story.

  1. I'd be splattered all over the forest for the local wildlife to section off and run away with to feed their familes in seconds after takeoff if that were me. Thank god it's not me and thank god that guy is him. Damn..

  2. I watch this on some channel where all suggestions was guy hanging (you) is instructor pilot teacher and person who holding is tourist

now truth is different did you sue pilot

  3. did you enjoy it can be announced as new way of gliding so that whole world can enjoy
next what base jumping without wing suit & parachute just jump from mountain

  4. That takes some strength to hold on like that, very few people can hold their weight on a bar like that for 2 minutes, they do them competition at fair grounds sometimes. It must have been even harder with the wind and force of moving forward, just goes to show what the human body is capable of.

  5. Bruh, I don't even know you, but I am so happy you survived. You are an official super-hero after this one. And you have a sense of humor. I can't believe your instructor was so incompetent that he didn't connect you to the device. He needs a desk job.

  6. Some screws and plates in the wrist, torn bicep and tendon, and an all new Dead hang world record! ???
Seriously though, glad you're okay man, don't worry, I shit my pants for you.

  7. this video inspired me to start training for hanging 😀 I weight 100kg so it's going to be a challenge
Target time: 2 minutes and 10 seconds

  8. My heart was in my chest and I was imagining first your terror and then the pilot’s terror when you each realized… but then your dry humor comments had me laughing! Rapid emotional yo-yo ride for this viewer! Whew!!

  9. Did the same myself ONCE. Fortunately I was on a training hill and never more than 10 feet above the ground. Lesson learned!

  10. I held my breath until I saw you safely land.
Pilot did a good job finding that distant landing strip.
Though he was having a affair with your wife, he saved your life.

  11. You are so brave, I can't believe you held on for that long. That's beast mode! Good to see you are safe. I'm sure your video will be used in all future training videos around the world. It's great to see you reframe it with a bit of humour and maturity. I'm sure he's learnt his lesson…
Although I hope they paid the medical bill and for mental counseling…for your poor wife!

  12. You are lucky fellow bro…and I appreciate that piolet who thought in right way at that time…I am vertical rope rescue specialist….but I also did some mistakes in this 10 years of experience
