No. We consider puppies cute because we were raised from childhood to look at them that way (as pets). Baby cows and chicks are cute too and yet people do not mind killing them and eating them. It is a cultural thing. In other cultures, dogs are not viewed as cute or pets and many people actually eat dogs in other places of the world.
