The address of this location was in Dali old town in a narrow back alley, but only happens once per year. The rest of the time, it’s a courtyard and temple.

We found the most amazing feast in a back alley in Dali, Yunnan. I hope you enjoy what we found. There was so many local Yunnanese specialties! We are loving the food in Yunnan, and are going to film another couple episodes before making our way to Kolkata for 3 weeks to eat street food! I can’t wait! I hope you’re doing well, and I would love to hear from you in the comments below. Thanks so much for watching!

  2. 你介绍的太久了 他们都等不及啦 碍于你在拍摄 所以有难得一见的没有那么迅速的开吃

  3. They'd invite me to stay once and never let me back on that street again.
Because I'd eat all the food.
Literally all the food! Worth the ban IMO.

  4. Yunnan province is like heaven, from tropical area, to pleatau to plains. The beauty is beyond description. No other place can beat it.

  5. Awesome video.. you should try out filipino food trevor,it’s kinda like a fusion of spanish, chinese, indo, english cooking.. you should visit Philippines ?

  6. Hi Trevor. This is an extraordinary event that you brought us. It is in line with your intent of showing us the friendliness and generosity of people. I see it, together with your Ramzaan series from India and the Tibetan monastery visit, as something uncommon you offer us. Wishing you and Ting all the very best.

  7. I just adore your videos Trevor. With my health conditions, travel will never be possible but I am so enjoying watching you, I swear I can smell and taste everything. Wonderful.

  8. I like these unexpected …or planned kind of culture background to the food, and the chance to see people in these rural areas how nice they are. The food then in these settings gives the flavour and smells, a brief history about the food and people and how they live.

  9. I love this video! Although, I don't know if I would be slightly offended to be included with all the elderly in the invitation!!! (it looks like all the elderly and only Trevor is the youngest eating lunch!) kidding, of course. This seems to be a great honor to share in what they have prepared for their honored elders! Great one, Trev!

  10. What a great honor to be asked to attend the village feast, as much as you respect the people they respect you. You break through the language barrier and are welcomed into their traditional ceremonies. Really amazing to to see how comfortable and easy you make it look… and the food looks great!

  11. I'm disappointed and offended that you didn't hit the bong bro!!! It was just some harmless opium, not like that crazy flakka crap.
