The best hawker food in the world really is in Penang. So delicious! I was lucky enough to meet with a Penang local here and taste some classic Hawker food (A Hokkien Mee) and learn a little more about Malaysian Cuisine!

The Hokkien Mee dish is famous in Penang and can be had for as little as 4 rinngit (1.25 USD) and found throughout the city at many different hawker stalls.

To find this spot on your own adventure, go here:

Weld Quay Area, beside the Chew Clan Jetty. If coming from Old town, its a short 10 minute walk. Walk southeast on Lebuh Chulia street all the way until you reach the end near the water. Take a righ on the main road, and walk another short 2 minutes. You will see a large hawker center known as CF food court and you will see a small hawker center across the street. The small one is where you want to be to try these famous Hokkien Noodles.

  6. ive heard that people that sell noodles use "weird" ingredients to make their broth like pineapple juice , bones and other stuff , it would be awesome if you could do a video about that 🙂

  7. I'm from Canada, and the best food in the world, in my experience, was in Ipoh, Malaysia. You can be sure I'll make my way to Georgetown, MY in my next visit in a month or so to see how great the food is in this region too.

  8. Hei, amazing videos about Malaysia Food.
Let me tell u something, Kuala Lumpur has a different version of Hokkien Noodle than Penang and they're equally tasty to me… Every state in Malaysia has a little bit of "must try" popular local food.
