  1. Thats fantastic Sir Patrick Stewart! Pitty's raised right are the most amazing pets! I found my new lil girl last Friday at Walgreens…she about 3-4 months old…and already smart as a whip…. Its been 4 years since my Maleah Rose passed. And i feel like she had her paw in me discovering our new lil girl!

  2. What this actor is doing for himself is getting healthy by letting the dog sleep with him and be with him a lot will guarantee good health

  3. Bless this man who has it all, and so sad that he cannot adopt in the UK a pitbull, he would be an ideal home, he now fosters and gets those babies an adopted perfect home. thanks, Patrick Stewart and your wife for the generous time you give to help a pit get a new home. He had even paid out of his own pocket vet bills to help get pit health issues taken care of, now that is a real foster home.

  4. It's amazing that Brittan disallows pit bulls! They used to use the "pit bulls" as nannies for the little ones…sit the kids and the dog outside and there were no worries. The pit bull is very protective of it's owner and no harm will come to them when the pittie is on duty. What a shame that they have gotten such a bad and undeserving reputation.

  5. Tell the family in Louisville, KY whose pitbull was first reported carrying the dead, mauled child in his mouth how antiquated these laws are.
Before returning to Ky, I lived in central Tennessee the last twenty years and it was sickening the number of small children killed by pitbulls while I was there.
Yes, about any dog can be dangerous but the danger in pitbulls is once they attack the attack is vicious and deadly and their jaw strength is just devastating.
It was also sickening while in Tennessee to hear the parade of parents, interviewed on the news, exclaim just how protective and loving their pitbull was before they attacked. ( right, it's a pitbull, what's new)
Yes, well I suppose if you play with a friendly rattlesnake long enough it probably will kill you with kindness at some point.
btw, of all the breeds of dogs out there the question comes down to why a person or family would want a pitbull.
I'll tell you. It's like owning a tank to drive in, a cannon to hunt with or a banana boat to ski behind. It's saying, look at my bad ass dog because I'm a bad ass dude.
There's also a truth, if you want to find the drug dealer find out who owns pitbulls.
Antiquated laws? No, those laws have saved many children's lives and need to be instituted far and wide until the breed is no more.
At least, anyone taking the responsibility of owning these monstrosities of breeding should, at least, need to register them with local police and also carry additional liability insurance.
I'm a dog lover and have had Spaniels the last forty years. A few years ago, while in western Ky, a neighbors pitbull stalked and suddenly went for the throat of one of my dogs. Thank God I was right there to end things before the started. My neighbor stood there and laughed it off. I told him he had a red line dog but again he blew it off. Found out afterwards his pit had already killed his next door neighbors dog in front of their kids.
Yep, that's what all pitbull owners do, laugh it off. They are in greater denial than any druggie out there.
BAN ALL PITBULL AND MIXES. THEY'RE NOTHING MORE THAN TICKING TIME BOMBS.

  6. I get very confused by The photo of other dogs. So Who is Emma The White one or The Brown one? Please dont use other photos than The dog you taking about. But Bouth are beautiful doggies ❤️

  7. Yeah that law in the UK is crazy and ridiculous but that's their problem, they are missing out on some amazing wonderful loving dogs. I canceled my orders to Cornwall when I heard about that barbaric law of if a dog looks or is thought to be one of the BSL they will kill your dog without even notifying you. As soon as your dog crosses into the UK they can do whatever they want to your dog. My dog was a German Shepherd mix and I didn't take any chances on those people making so stupid ignorant mistake and kill my dog.

  8. It's called BSL, Breed Specific Legislation. Banning and even killing dog breeds because of their looks and often false reputation. Pits, Rottweilers, Dobermans, Wolf Hybrids, etc etc.. It even goes on in the US and Canada. Killing dogs for their looks……

  9. Pit bulls are great, but in PS's case, why doesn't he adopt some breed that could travel back and forth without a problem? He could continue to help pitties by donating and getting involved in pro-pittie activities, and anti-kill shelter activities.

  10. He and his wife are wonderful people for fostering these beautiful dogs. I have a Pittie myself and they make terrific pets. I love their smile. You just got to love them.

  11. People can have German Shepards, Rotts, Staffys, and Dobermans in England but they ban American pit bulls ?? I know what dogs tend to bite people more often and England are being assholes who don't like USA!!! Ha!! They need to control the fools who own the dogs not the dogs

  12. Dear Sir Patrick, all I can say is … you freaking rock. We need more humans like you willing to do what they can for the betterment of all creatures.

  13. I knew this man was so caring but I didn't know just how caring he is. Bless that man and allow us to be blessed with bis presence for as long as possible.

  14. Great story about a great guy with a big heart.
It’s awesome that he paid for that surgery so the new forever family for ginger wouldn’t have to worry about.
He and his wife should each get a standing ovation for that thoughtful act.
