It is a fact that animals react to certain sounds, but showing emotions like human beings is rare. Watch how the elephants react when Michael Telapary plays his Native Flute. Incredible!

  1. that wasnt a dance, its a mental or stress behavior form being captivity ( the state of being kept in a place such as a prison or a cage and not being able to leave or free) PLEASE RESPECT FOR THESE ELEPHANTS

  2. This looks to me like a sign of pent-up energy from being in confinement. Whether or not it was reacting to the music is irrelevant. It's the way it's acting that is key. Sensory deprevation and lack of mental stimulation lead to even the most simple things causing an animal to become neurotic, desperately trying to release up loads of pent-up stored potential energy all at once.

Elephants are emotional high-minded creatures that seem to understand pain and death in others so they don't attack, but he looks incredibly miserable, like he's not comfortable on his feet, and like he desperately wants something more.

I am not against using animals. Animals were put here for our use and people need to understand that, but I also believe that we need to respect life while we're at it. These silly circus displays should end. It is needless suffering for only a small gain in humans.

  3. Disliked. I'm not sure what this guy was trying to do but all I saw in this video were animals that are stressed the fuck out. Thanks for ruining my YouTube journey of animals enjoying music. I'm done now.

  4. Both Elephants are Stressed and Ready to Strike at any Second (!!!) if this Guy gets too close or do Something that looks threatening. Simple! That's what it is. Sorry to Disappoint the Uploader or any excited Viewer thinking there is some kind of a Dance here.

P.s. .. and They're probably Wondering what the Hell He wants + How Crazy and How long it's gonna' Last. #JustSaying

  5. WHY WE DO THAT DO THEM? WHY WE FEEL THE NEED TO ENSLAVE AND ABUSE OTHER SPECIES? I CAN SEE THERES A FENCE. I CAN ALSO SEE THEY ARE ENCLOSURE/ CIRCUS ANIMALS

  6. Elephant Whisperer – Flute Master. Lock yourself up in a room 5 ft high and 4×4 ft wide (a room that cramps you for space – where you can't stand, sit or sleep properly) for as long as these animals have been confined, and pretty soon, you'll sway to anything!

  7. I agree this elephant might like the music but undeniably they are once again in a space too small for them then they also have to share the space. Let’s try it again from a new approach

  8. If only the Elephant speaks , I think " He will tell the Fluteman to THROW your Flute ! And SUCK my Nose you IDIOT Pocahontas !!"" ???

  9. Many animals enjoy music, depending, of course on the music. Relaxing music, easy-listening music, yes, it can relax them as much as it can humans. But today's pop music, no, too much screaming with an incessant drum beat, they don't appreciate that (but then, neither do many of us humans!).

  10. Just try a kazo??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

  11. Elephants was swinging before he started the flute. One of the elephants even stopped when he started. Deceptive headline!

  12. Stress reaction to confinement. I wonder if that wire separating elephants from flute guy is electrified ….. This is NOT what it seems….
