Madagascar: the world’s 4th largest island, located off the coast of East Africa. Known for its biodiversity, over 90% of its wildlife is found nowhere else on Earth. This week begins our 8-series trip to Madagascar, where we explore the tastes and culture that make this island so unique. Join us as we take you all the way from street food in the capital city Antananarivo to spending a day in a remote village for a local ritual unlike anything I’ve seen before. I can’t wait to share Madagascar’s unique cuisine, breathtaking views and, of course, the people who call Madagascar home with all of you.

Special thanks to Ramartour Madagascar and our Madagascar tour guide Joel for helping us find the undiscovered parts of Madagascar. Go on your own tour of Madagascar with Ramartour: http://bit.ly/Ramartour

Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. People either enjoyed my undeniable charm or enjoyed watching me eat things like coconut worms, and thus Best Ever Food Review Show came to be.

I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer. If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

Don’t forget to subscribe to Best Ever Food Review Show, so we can connect through food and travel and become Bestys!

  1. Hi everyone! I'm traveling to Madagascar this June to witness its beauty for myself. I'll be visiting some of its many national parks and hanging out with some adorable lemurs! If you're interested, you can come too! My friends and I started a travel community called WiGo so you can travel with people with similar interests and don't have to worry about any of the planning.

  2. People from such simple humble lives always look so happy and open and free… look at our "first world" countries… hardly see ppl with such a biiiig bright smiles towards strangers AND they have mental illnesses and suffer from depression even tho they have almost EVERYTHING…. very interesting.

  3. Thought they were going to roast the cow alive at first. glad they cut its throat. more humane than a lot of first world countries do.

  4. Im thankful that I see people kill cow at least once a year, it makes me appreciate their sacrifice more…. and also free meat lol

  5. There is no logic to eating animals. Why should an animal die so you can have fun in a meal that you'll forget about by tomorrow, but the animal will be dead forever? The world needs more empathy.

  6. That disturbing sunny. An animal can't be a Food. Mind it, I like your video, but this one is had some graphic image, so whatever you post on social media. You have to look to the viewers points also.
